For twelve years, when our children were very young, we lived on Holly Hill St. in Ramseur, NC.
Our family loved living beside Mr. and Mrs. Clark as they were not only the best neighbors, but like grandparents to our three children, Matt, Jenny and Adam. We are so sorry to hear of the passing of this wonderful man. We have many fond memories from when we lived on Holly Hill and most of them include Mr. Clark. We can still see him sitting in a fold-up chair in his carport. We still remember when we looked out the window and he was mowing our yard. We remember when Adam was born, Mr. Clark was called to pick up a sick Jenny at Chimney Lane Daycare because we couldn't. Our children along with the other children in the neighborhood definitely remember the many trips to get ice cream as they all piled into Mr. Clark's Cadillac. We remember when the grandaughters would come for visits in the summer. Our children all played together. Once we moved to Greensboro, we continued to love this Ramseur family. We returned several times for visits and made phone calls to see how they were doing. They often called us too. When our oldest son graduated from NC State, Mr. and Mrs. Clark surprised us by attending a cookout party at our home in Greensboro. Mrs. Clark was always a wonderful Southern Belle and Mr. Clark was our Southern Gentleman. We know that Mr. Clark is smiling down on us and remembering good times also. He was a wonderful Christian man. Mrs. Clark, we love you too and pray for your good health. God bless all of this wonderful family. We miss you Mr. Clark.
