A Blessed Occasion - Turner's Baptism

February 22 was a very special day for Turner Kail
Boone, his day of baptism! This special day was wonderful
with the gathering of family and friends. We all knew that
Turner was one of God's children, but the ceremony made
it very official. The little one stared at the fount as the
water was poured into it. Then Pastor Yount took Turner
from his mother for the baptism. Turner was fine during
"The Father, The Son," but during "The Holy Ghost", he
let out a cry! He wasn't fond of that cold water on his head,
nor the position he was in over the fount! As soon as he was
handed back to his mother, he was fine. But he didn't stop
staring at Pastor Yount and the fount of water!!! It was so
funny.

Here is a happy Turner after the ceremony was over, an

official Child of God.

The celebration continued at Matt and Kristen's home

in Apex with food, drink, family and friends. Here are

Lauren, Nathan, Riley, Ty and Bailey - The Yang Family,

with Turner. Kristen's sister and her family were present

along with many other family members. Cousin Bailey is

only one month older than Turner.

Bailey was sitting just fine by herself, or is she holding

onto Turner? This was Turner's first time to sit alone...well,

for a few seconds anyway! Are these two precious babies

cute or what? Look at those little baby feet!!!

The fruit, bagels, muffins, juice and coffee were delicious!

Aunt Julie and Uncle Joel, Uncle Adam and Melissa enjoyed

the food and conversation.

Grandmother Sally enjoyed her time holding Turner.

The party was just too much for Turner, so he took a nap!

It was a fun event for all, a very special day for Turner.
